Homer’s View, named after the ancient Greek epic poet Homer, is a newly built holiday accommodation with swimming pool on the Greek Island of Ithaca in the Ionian Sea.

Ithaca, also called Ithaki, is found on the lush West Coast of Greece and is famous for its friendly people. Her beautiful beaches, crystal seas
and untouched Greek tradition make this island a perfect destination for a relaxing and romantic summer vacation for couples, families and friends.
Serene, quaint and private, our villas
in Ithaca were designed to display
the traditional architecture of the island in a contemporary
fashion. For us, less is more, and this is obvious by the
earthly colours used and simple, yet tasteful, finishing touches
of our villas which allow our guests to really appreciate
the surroundings. Situated in the village of Kolieri, a backdrop of olive groves and cypress trees is complemented by a magnificent view of the royal blue sea of Afales Bay
ahead and Plati Amos Beach which is famous for attracting many celebrities to Ithaca. We have been complemented numerous times for the great energy and summery feel
of our villas.
At Homers View accommodation, one will find all the necessities for going on holiday. A swimming pool, BBQ, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and
entertainment area. But all this would be worth little if it wasn’t for our hospitality, friendliness and warm smile. You see, at Homer’s View Villas in Ithaca, you are not
the customer and we are not the business. Instead, you are the guests and we are your hosts. When you leave, you will realise that on this small island in
Greece, you have made friends - friends at Homer’s View.
The legendary Homer, author of the Iliad and The Odyssey, is responsible for the Island
of Ithaca being so notorious. Being especially proud of this, and the fact that the archaeological site of Homer’s School, where it is believed that
he wrote these epic poems, is a mere 10 minute walk from us, we named our accommodation Homer’s View with the Iliad Villa and the Odyssey Villa. In 2010, it was
announced that Homer’s School may also be the site of Odysseus’ Palace.
